1. Explosion-proof motor

It can explode when it comes into contact with ignition sources such as sparks, arcs and dangerously high temperatures inside the housing. At this time, the flameproof housing of the motor will not be damaged or deformed, and the explosive flame or hot gas will not ignite the surrounding explosive gas mixture when it comes out of the gap between the joints.

2. Increased safety type explosion-proof motor

For this type of explosion-proof motor, some mechanical, electrical and thermal protection measures are taken for the motor structure that will not produce arc, spark or dangerous high temperature under normal operating conditions. In this way, it can further avoid the danger of electric arc, spark or high temperature under normal or recognized overload conditions, so as to ensure its explosion-proof safety.

3. Positive pressure explosion-proof motor

It is a positive voltage electrical equipment.

Its structural features are:

(1) With a complete ventilation system, the motor has no structural dead Angle that can affect ventilation.

(2) The shell and pipe are made of noncombustible material and have sufficient mechanical strength.

(3) Keep the shell and main pipe have enough positive pressure relative to the outside atmosphere.

How to wire the explosion-proof motor

The inlet of the explosion-proof motor junction box is sealed by pressing the rubber ring. The weakness of this structure is the aging of the rubber ring and the elastic failure, which makes the cooperation between the cable and the rubber ring inconsistent. For the junction box of the double outlet of the explosion-proof motor, the unnecessary outlet should be blocked with a metal sealing piece of thickness not less than 2mm. The outer diameter of the metal sealing piece should be close to the inner diameter of the outlet hole of the inlet and outlet device, so as to ensure that the sealing ring is evenly pressed by the pressure plate or the pressing nut to achieve a reliable seal.

Explosion - proof motor lifting and storage

All EXPLOSION-PROOF MOTORS NEED TO BE LIFTED WITH DERRICK OR HOLE, NOT allowed TO BE lifted or supported at the core punching plate or coil, when the whole EXPLOSION-proof motor is lifted, sling should be used to make weight distribution uniform, and brace should be used to avoid deformation of the roof. Careless handling during installation and incorrect use of derrick and hook are likely to cause more damage to explosion-proof motor than years of operation. Care should be taken not to damage the windings when handling the motor.
